Camosy’s Response to COVID – 19
To our valued Clients, Community Constitutes, Staff and Subcontractors:
Safety has always been and will remain Camosy’s top priority during this unprecedented and ever-changing time, and we will make every effort to make well informed decisions to keep all staff, clients and subcontractors safe. The Governors of both Illinois and Wisconsin have deemed all construction essential as of now and we will remain operating as close to normal as possible on a project specific basis.
We continue to monitor the status and the spread of the novel Coronavirus with the help of our insurance company, our captive insurance program and industry organizations like the Great Lakes Construction Association. With their help, we believe we remain informed and educated on all orders and expectations set forth by each state.
Camosy continues to practice social distancing by keeping the staff in our office as low as possible along with the implementation of a Pandemic Preparedness Plan. This plan appoints a Command Staff and their specific roles, a Communication Plan during a Pandemic, Work at Home Considerations, Extra Infection Control Measures, Exposure Protocol and Training and Documentation. Multiple employees are working from home while others are coordinating by department to stagger timing on individuals coming into the office and our office is temporarily closed to all visitors. We are also conducting every necessary meeting, interview and bid opening virtually.
We understand that construction projects might not be your top priority right now; but we will communicate with you to keep you informed and understand your needs and expectations during this time. We will continue to work for you if and until we are told we cannot. We will readjust schedules to keep you as informed as possible. Whatever you need, we are here for you.
We also wanted to give our sincerest thanks to our first responders, healthcare professionals, grocery store workers, and our industry that continues to work hard and provide a sense of normalcy for our communities.
